How long does shipping take?
All orders ship free to the 50 United States. Standard shipping takes 3-5 business days after processing. Orders are processed within 1-2 business days. Large items may ship via freight carrier and take an additional 1-2 days for delivery scheduling.
Do you charge sales tax?
No. All orders are tax-free. The price you see at checkout is the total you pay.
How long does tent setup take?
Pop-up canopies typically assemble in 5-10 minutes with 1-2 people and no tools. Frame tents require 3-5 people and 45-90 minutes depending on size. Pole tents require 4-5 people and about 60 minutes. Inflatable tents inflate in 2-5 minutes with the included blower.
Can I use a canopy on concrete or pavement?
Yes, but you will need tent weights instead of ground stakes. We offer galvanized steel tent weights in 5 lb and 10 lb options. For canopies in windy conditions, we recommend at least 20 lbs of weight per leg.
Are the tents waterproof?
All our tent fabrics are water-resistant or waterproof. Pop-up canopies use 210D polyester with PU coating that resists water. Vinyl tents are fully waterproof. Check individual product descriptions for specific ratings.
What size tent do I need for my event?
A general rule: allow 10-12 square feet per person for seated events with tables, or 4-6 square feet per person for standing/cocktail events. A 10x10 canopy fits a 6-foot table and 8 chairs. A 20x20 frame tent fits about 40 seated guests. A 20x30 pole tent fits about 60 seated guests.
Can I return a tent if it does not work for my event?
Yes. We accept returns within 30 days of delivery. Items must be unused and in original packaging. Contact info@metroeventtent.com to initiate a return. See our Return Policy page for full details.
Do you offer custom printing on tents?
Yes, several of our pop-up tent models offer custom printing options. Check the product listings for "custom printed" options or contact us for custom branding requests.
What happens if my tent arrives damaged?
Contact us within 48 hours of delivery with your order number and photos of the damage. We will send a replacement at no charge or issue a full refund. See our Shipping Policy for details.
Do you ship internationally?
No, we currently ship to the 50 United States only.
How do I care for my tent?
Clean with mild soap and water. Allow the tent to dry completely before storing to prevent mold. Store in a cool, dry place. Avoid folding the fabric along the same creases repeatedly to prevent weakening. For vinyl tents, use a soft brush and avoid harsh chemicals.
Can tents be used in high winds?
Our tents are designed for typical outdoor conditions. Pop-up canopies with steel frames are rated for winds up to 20 mph when properly anchored. For winds above 20 mph, we recommend taking down pop-up canopies. Frame tents and pole tents, when properly anchored with stakes or weights, can handle higher winds. Always check weather forecasts before your event and never use tents in severe weather.
